Nkurru Game Lodge, Madikwe Game Reserve
During 2009,
Bruce Johnson installed both a
Lilliput
System and
Reed Bed
at Nkurru Game Lodge.
Having worked at various luxury lodges in the past, this the second Lilliput System Mr. Johnson has installed for us and we cannot praise the product enough.
The entire system at Nkurru has been designed and installed to optimize the sewerage and grey water system and the results have been spectacular.
Once all the water has passed through the
Lilliput
System it is pumped to the lodge waterhole
where it is obvious, by the amount of game at
the waterhole, that the water is odorless and
perfectly clean.
After a recommendation from Mr. Johnson, Nkurru also had a Reed Bed (seen on the right) built and integrated into the Lilliput System.

This Reed Bed has been set up to not only purify the water coming from the Lilliput System even further but also to increase the birdlife around the lodge. On both accounts it has been a huge success.
The professionalism, levels and
communication and friendly manner in which the entire project
was handled was exceptional and for that I cannot commend Mr.
Johnson enough.
